GDPR & Data Protection
This statement summarises how Cardiff Giant Ventures Limited complies with the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR for Ruck Grassroots. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. Controller and contact
Cardiff Giant Ventures Limited (company no. 12322092), Unit 12 Green Park, Coed Cae Lane Industrial Estate, Pontyclun, CF72 9GP, Wales, United Kingdom, is the data controller. Data-protection enquiries: privacy@ruckgrassroots.com.
2. Lawful bases
We process personal data on the bases of contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (to secure and improve it and to prevent fraud), legal obligation (accounting and tax), and consent where specifically requested.
3. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right not to be subject to solely automated decisions with legal effect. We do not carry out such automated decision-making.
To exercise any right, email privacy@ruckgrassroots.com. We respond within one month. You may complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.
4. Processors and sub-processors
We use Supabase (hosting/database/auth), Stripe (payment processing), and transactional email providers, each under data-processing agreements. A current list is available on request.
5. International transfers and security
Where personal data leaves the UK/EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards (UK IDTA / EU SCCs). We apply technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on stored data.
6. Players and safeguarding data
Where you record information about young players, you determine the purposes of that processing within your club and act as controller for it; we act as processor on your behalf for hosting and operating the Service. You must ensure you have an appropriate lawful basis and consents.
